I just finished reading Sammy Hagar's autobiography and it inspired me to listen to one of my favorite albums.
I credit my uncle Bill for turning me on to this album. The record reminds me of summer drives to Red Granite, WI with him. We'd spend the day swimming at the quarry and this album would be cranked as soon as we got in his car. My friend Mike (singer in my band) was a fan of the album and there were times during high school where this didn't leave the CD player.
It's been heralded as one of the best rock albums of the 70s and it's truly one of my favorites...a definite party album. R.I.P. Ronnie.
