Album 365: Day 26 - Emerson, Lake and Palmer - Trilogy

Emerson, Lake and Palmer
Trilogy
1973

Favorite tracks: The Endless Enigma (Part 1), Hoedown, Trilogy
Sleeper tracks: From The Beginning, Abaddon's Bolero

My favorite Emerson, Lake and Palmer album.  Again, my aunt Lisa introduced me to ELP at a very young age.

I found this CD used at Apple Emporium.  I was looking for any ELP album and this was the only one I found that day (I think it might have been the 5th CD I ever bought).  I remember playing this a lot in high school, during study hall, when I would hang out in the band room.

It's a great headphones album.  There's a lot of stuff going on in the songs and Palmer's drumming is so intricate.  He was one of my favorite drummers for quite a few years. Greg Lake's vocals are top-notch and are better than what he did with King Crimson.
