Tears For Fears
The Seeds of Love
1989
Favorite tracks: Woman In Chains, Sowing the Seeds of Love, Year of the Knife
Sleeper tracks: Swords and Knives, Famous Last Words
This is another album that I never heard all the way through before. I was quite impressed with the quality of the production.
Tears For Fears was introduced to me by MTV. I wasn't a fan right away. I can't honestly remember when I started appreciating the band. I think it was after I moved out to Minneapolis and started listening to music all the time (and even then I only had the Greatest Hits CD). Roland Orzabal (the not pretty one) writes a good tune and his vocals are really crisp and tight. "Seeds of Love" is my favorite song by them.
