This is another band I heard about via a friend on Facebook. I have never listened to them before tonight.
Quicksand is a (looking at my notes) post-hardcore band. I'm not too familiar with bands in that genre. The album is actually pretty good and delivered more than I was expecting. The mix is dated but it doesn't take away from the cool guitar, drum and bass grooves. You can hear everything well although the vocals are a little buried. I think my favorite song I heard tonight was either Thorn In My Side or Gargantuan. I came away from this one wanting to hear it again.
