Sting
The Dream of the Blue Turtles
1985
Favorite tracks: If You Love Somebody Set Them Free, The Dream of the Blue Turtles, Fortress Around Your Heart
Sleeper tracks: Russians, Moon Over Bourbon Street
I remember it was a pretty big deal when Sting released this album. I thought "...Set Them Free" was a great tune and Omar Hakim's drumming on mainstream radio was refreshing. "Fortress..." has a really cool, big chorus. That song is classic Sting and is very Police sounding.
This isn't my favorite Sting album. I can't get over the soprano sax sprayed all over the record. I'd be happy not hearing this album for a couple years.
