I'm proud to say that I'm one of the few who thinks this is a bitchin' album. I would put it number 2 after Blood Sugar... for my favorite Chili Peppers albums (I am not as much a fan of the stuff after this one). I know the band wasn't happy with it and all that shit; but I'd gladly take this over By The Way...critics and morons be damned!
I remember eagerly counting the days to this album's release. I was very pleased with the record and loved the band with Dave Navarro. I think this album contains Chad Smith's best drumming. The songs were more rockin' thanks to Dave's influence. There are about 3 songs too many on the record.
