You either really like Frank Zappa music or you hate it.

This album is very special to me.  It was my first experience with Frank Zappa and I will have to give all the credit to my aunt Lisa.  She played this for me when I was 5, 6 or 7.  We were sitting at my grandparents house (she was babysitting) and I can remember her cleaning up after supper and playing this album.  I really liked the lyrics as a kid and the music was funny and interesting.  It took me a lot of years to understand the complexity of the music; but once I did I couldn't get enough.   I think he's one of the best things to come from American music.  He was an absolute genius and most people don't realize how insanely talented he was.

Sheik Yerbouti wasn't the best Zappa album but it was a great record and is probably the most friendly album for non-fans of Frank.
