Again, my friend Bryan influenced my affinity for this album. We played the hell out of this record for a long time. It's one of Vai's best albums and Devin Townsend's vocals are perfect for the record. Having Terry Bozzio drum on the record was an awesome idea and I wish the band would have done more work together on Vai projects.
Vai stuff can (and does) sound dated but the songs on this record are good enough to rise above that.
