One of the better albums of 2011. The production was great and the songs were enough to make this my favorite Foo Fighters records.
I was never a huge Foo Fighters fan. I didn't like Dave Grohl and Nirvana for the longest time. I came to realize that he's good for music and he writes some great songs. "Rope" is my favorite Foo Fighters song. It's got the chorus of Rush and the riffs of Zeppelin. The made no attempt to hide their influences and proudly stated it in interviews.
